Adam McCombs has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of Somerset Hardwood Flooring, effective June 1, to succeed Paul Stringer, who is set to retire later this year and will assist in the transition of leadership.
McCombs comes to Somerset from Vantaca, a prominent software provider in the community association management sector, where he held the position of chief product officer for slightly over two years. Prior to this role, he served as chief product officer at Linq, a leading provider of K-12 education business solutions, and at Livly, a property management software provider which he co-founded in 2017.
Somerset describes McCombs as a seasoned manager who has exhibited exceptional leadership, a focus on customer centricity, and expertise in organizational development throughout his career. In his new role, he will spearhead the operational and strategic growth of the flooring company’s North American operations.
With the addition of McCombs to the team, Dan Natkin, who serves as the CEO and managing director of Boen Hardwood Flooring and as the sales leader for Somerset, has assumed the role of chief commercial officer for North America. In this capacity, he will oversee the sales, marketing, and customer service functions for both North American entities.
Somerset operates within the Bauwerk Group, which also includes Bauwerk Parkett and Boen, serving as the parent company.
